Objectives
- Development of the gate drivers for switching cells based on the series connection of 3.3kV SiC MOSFETs;
- Electromechanical design optimization and integration of switching cell based on series connection of 3.3kV SiC MOSFETs into a converter leg;
- Development of the gate driver for the 15kV SiC IGBT developed in WP2;
- Control system development for the converter prototype;
- Medium frequency transformer development for the converter prototype.
